Hello,

I'm confusing the implementation of method:

  • ValueMatrixOnSubMatrixImpl.handleValuesExplicit(value, valSeq, targetDt, startPoint, count)

It seems when I set the DT_STRING, DATE, BOOLEAN, COMPLEX, DCOMPLEX for targetDt and set values with the same dataType, the parameters startPoint, count are ignored and returns the valSeq with whole values contained in values parameter.

But when I set the DT_SHORT, FLOAT, DOUBLE, LONG, LONGLONG,BYTE, this method returns valSeq having limited amount of values.

So, I call the ValueMatrix.getValueVector(count) with nonzero count, the result count of values is depends on the datatpe I requested.

Why this difference happens on ths methos?

Best regards,

    Hello!

I made a patch for this issue.
Could you check if it's acceptable?

    Perfect, thank you very much!
Works as expected, so I have integrated the patch and released a new version.
