I'm new to OpenClinic, so apologies for any basic questions. I cannot find answers in the manual or technical documents and the wiki appears to be unavailable. Is it possible to schedule a report to run automatically and email the results? We have daily, weekly, and monthly reports we would like to run but not have to do manually each time.

Hi, great application. I absolutely love it But im finding it difficult billing lab tests that have been requested and carried out. I'm not sure at what point it should appear on patient invoices (After its been requested or after results have been entered). I've tried setting it up like drugs prescriptions but i cant link the lab examinations with the corresponding care i created. Please help

Hello MaeDuke, You can add any insurance into the system. for that you must reach insurance management page by : System>Insurance management> Add insurance. On this page you need to define insurance name, the part of insurance and patient part on %.

I realized that if you go through the configuration section very well, you may be able to remove some of the French names and put English versions. eg when you go to facility user you may see 'medicin' and a type of professional you could go to the configuration page for facility professional cadres and edit it to Medical Doctor. Openclinic is the commercial version with all features and fonctionalities included. To use OpenClinic, you pay to get the server box installed and set up, for the customization, for the training, for the assistance of users of the health centre, and for the post implementation support generally in a form of a contract. Openclinic is not available on Sourceforge. OpenClinic GA is totally free and downloaded from Sourceforge, has no assistance or support, that's the do-it yourself version. Good Luck....

To my knowledge Openclinic and OpenclinicGA are different projects. OpenclincGA can be used in health care facilities at any level. OpenclincGA is used worldwide. Hello, By the way, the age ranges should be in number of months in Openclinic. So in your case, you will have to put 12 to 132 (which corresponds to 1 - 11 years), 144 to 192 (12-16 years) and so on. Good continuation

hello everyone! Big thanks to the developers of this great software. I am a new user setting up the software for my private lab in Uganda. Can anyone out there help me on how to setup age ranges and reference ranges for CBC test parameters. Some default ranges show 181 to 1500 as age which is unclear to me, I would like to have age ranges like 1 to 11, 12 to 16, etc. Thanks in advance for the kind help.

Hello! I installed the latest version for windows (5.204.06). I can only login with test login (openclinic / openclinic). Questions: 1. How can I create a new database and start from a clean slate? so that it does not write in red "Test login" 2. How can I set the default country and currency? 3. Hi Wayne The user is an extension of a patient record. To create it, you must first create a patient, then select it and go to MENU -> SYSTEM -> PERMISSIONS -> PERMISSIONS FOR ( PATIENT NAME ). In the form you can put in "alias" a username. Once the password has been created, it displays you on the result screen, and on the first connection it will ask you to change it. I just installed version 204 on our server and I can't seem to find any info on how to login as sys admin and get to work on setting things up for our new medical center. None of the usual default admin logins seem to work and the only login that works so far is the test, "openclinic". Is there an administrator handbook?

I recently installed OpenClinic Ga for our clinic. So far, I haven't found a way to login as Sys Admin to create users and do backups, etc. The only login that seems to work is "openclinic". The manual doesn't seem to address this. Version 204.86. Is there an admin manual that I can use?
