I could have sworn I had done a ReadMe.txt, apparently not. I have added the beginnings of one now, duplicated below. It would be really fantastic if when you go through the exercise of building it, you can flesh out the bits I have missed. I am sure there is something. Building OPAL for Android is currently only supported in a Windows environment and requires installation of several systems: Visual Studio 2010 or later, Express edition is OK. Android SDK http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html Android NDK http://developer.android.com/tools/sdk/ndk/index.html vs-android http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html Java JDK http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads Then I would advise following the instructions on building for Windows first, using the Wiki at http://www.opalvoip.org/wiki to make sure anything I did not mention above is installed. Then simply use the opal_samples_2010.sln solution, select Android and build. *Robert Jongbloed* /OPAL/OpenH323/PTLib Architect and Co-founder./ Commercial support at http://www.voxlucida.com.au On 23/05/2013 1:04 AM, JC wrote: > Hi all, > > Just wondering and I'm sure the answer may be obvious but how would > one go about compiling the iOPAL/Android sample apps that comes with OPAL? > > In other words, what compiler can be used when compiling in on Mac > iOS, and I'm guessing Eclipse is used for the Android app? > > And are there any other steps required aside from linking the > compilers to the Ptlib and Opal libraries? > > Any information will be greatly appreciated. > > Thanks, > > Josh > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Try New Relic Now & We'll Send You this Cool Shirt > New Relic is the only SaaS-based application performance monitoring service > that delivers powerful full stack analytics.
