Hey all, I've noticed in my opal tests using simple opal with various endpoints there is a random distortion that seems to be happening in my images. I've seen this behavior while connection to Polycoms, Tandbergs, Lifesizes, etc. Typically the images are 1280x720 and are usually pretty clear. However occasionally I see a flicker of sorts in the image. Here is a link to a sample of what the distortion is like and the logs of the simple opal session: https://www.box.com/s/k8m9bwp30fftrx7grk8q <-- opal log https://www.box.com/s/dw7u815omaonv5usce3i <-- Example of the image flicker I thought that this might be due to the size of my images and the fact that it looks like opal defaults to a 3.0 level: #define DefaultProfileStr H264_PROFILE_STR_BASELINE #define DefaultProfileInt H264_PROFILE_INT_BASELINE #define DefaultProfileH241 64 #define DefaultLevelStr H264_LEVEL_STR_3 #define DefaultLevelInt 30 #define DefaultLevelH241 64 #define DefaultSDPProfileAndLevel "42801e" I tried changing these parameters to 3.1 to see if this would make things better, but it didn't really help. I'm hoping the opal community can give me some guidance here :-). Has anyone else encountered these problems? Thanks, JD |
