Hi All, I tried to comile Lelande RC. I do not want to install ptlib, just to have it in my temp directory. I'm experiencing problems with this approach. This is just a short note to allow correction of a possible problem before bringing Lelande to stable. I follow this official description: http://www.opalvoip.org/wiki/index.php?n=Main.BuildingOpalUnix I use the following env var set up before staring compilation: export PTLIBDIR=${MYDIR}/temp/ptlib export OPALDIR=${MYDIR}/temp/opal export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:${PTLIBDIR}/lib_linux_x86:${OPALDIR}/lib_linux_x86 export PTLIBPLUGINDIR=${PTLIBDIR}/lib_linux_x86:${OPALDIR}/lib_linux_x86 export LDFLAGS=-L${PTLIBDIR}/lib_linux_x86/ (the above Opal document does not mention the last line, this should be added if you would like to compile Opal without problems). The above works well with current SVN version. Now, in order to get Opal config script to run without errors, you should add this: export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=${PTLIBDIR} Although, make will never run without errors. It does not find any of the include files. Nor CFLAGS, CXXFLAGS or neither any other can help here. They seemed to be ignored by the scripts and make files. Current SVN version works fine with the first set of env variables. When was Lelande branch created from SVN? I've been working for a while now from SVN, and it seemed alright for the past month. Thanks. Best regards, Andras Kovacs |
