I'd be happy to attend almost anywhere. There was some discussion in Nov (?) about Kanata vs. Downtown and it sounds like there will always be a few from each camp that wouldn't be able to make it to the other area. Perhaps, if nothing more formal is already organized, trying a casual get together in a Kanata/Westboro/Downtown Pub (e.g. Barley Mow, Arrow&Loon, or Royal Oak) would be good - even if the only thing on the agenda was going around the table over a pint, and introducing ourselves, background and interesting projects currently. It sounded like agenda/presenter acquisition is a bit of a challenge, so maybe with a rough each-person-verbal-blurb template that would be enough structure for a meeting over a pint, some contacts and keeping something going. Just some thoughts... You can see I have a bit of an ulterior pint motivation :) Ross.
