#776 RegularExpression method pos() to allow a start argument

It would be nice if the RegularExpression's pos() method supported a "start" argument, where to start searching.

It would also come handy if the existing "haystack" parameter would natively supprt MutableBuffer instances without requesting an intermediate string.
