Hi!
I just reconsidered the design of OOPHP and believe me:
It's crap :(
Currently I'm trying to create a complete XML driven approach (using DOM, XMLSchema and XMLTransform)
Just like a template engine, but with an OO-interface!
I'm also working an a XML to SQL engine for being able to just use one Query (in XML) on any database(-dialect; eg.: SQL99, MySQL, PostgreSQL, ...)
They will be developed together and because of the different approaches I can't say when they will be finished!... read more
Some improvements in the value-checking/fixing Module and some bugfixes.
I decided to stop the plans for a lite version because PHP5 is envolving very fast (a Release-Candidate is published) and there is also a PHP5 webspace available at dotgeek.org.
And I think it won't take long for PHP5 to be recognized by the comunity!
This version is fixing some minor bugs.
See Changelog for details.
Will get english helpfile in next version (hopefully).
This is the first version which is tested under real life conditions. (see universe.dotgeek.org for oophp in action)
Theres also a hint for my next Projet 'oopdb' which is currently in pre-alpha.
I decided to make the oophp code backward compatible to PHP 4.1 and higher!
A new beta release will come soon!
First beta release of oophp is online!
