Hallo!


It seems to me, that this API only features the most basic
methods for accesssing parts of a message. For more
full features the API has to have more features or (which
may make more sense) there have to be additional APIs on top
of that.

For example:

What about encodings. AFAIK some of the headers and the body
can be encoded in an special fontset. What about MIME, attachements
etc...

As said, this does not mean that you must expand the API, itmay be
enought to have an cncept in mind, for expanding the API for this
highler level features.
