#11 Upload Documents (integrated file storage)
It would be great if the teachers could upload a file with
a description and due date/expiration date. They could
use this for assignments etc. Like my previous request
it should be by class so that if we have multiple classes
taught the parent/student should only see the ones that
pertain to their class.

Were you thinking of an HTML or text file that would be
uploaded or a textarea that could be filled in? Or were you
thinking that this would happen as part of the gradebook
upload?
Now that we have per-class memos in the next release, is
that enough?

Well actually my thought was more for uploading actual
Open Office or Word Docs. It would just be a file upload
with 3 fields... a description, a start date and an end
date. It would really just be an additional list that a
parent/student could access that would have the
description of the file. I would automatically appear and
disappear according to the start and end date.
As examples of what could be posted would be things like:
a. Field Trip Permission Forms
b. Assignments
c. Newsletters
d. Bible Verses etc

This feature request is still perculating, but has not made
it to the very top of the list yet.
