We've got now 2 bad guys, and different air resistances, so that you can outrun bots by navigating wisely :)
I've uploaded a release, just to find out how this thing works. The file itself contains the source and the appropriate automake stuff, which needed a load of reading.
After a succesful compiling it would provide a dummy main menu, and a flying saucer with some scrolling background.
The CVS seems to work as well, so the only thing left is the coding part. Which is cool, because that's what developing should be all about.... read more
Iv've just started fooling around with the CVS thing, which i belive will speed up developing a lot. That's good news.
And for a status report:
After powering up the version system we'll be working on the level-buildup method, which generates the level object from a color-coded bitmap image. Next step will be implementing our fancy-speedy collosion engine along with some brand new physics.
It will be fun.
