A new production release of One Click Kick has been released. A summary of
the new features and bug fixes includes:
v0.55:
- Integration with Red Hat Identity Management (www.freeipa.org)
- FQDN is sent as DHCP hostname when "Use host FQDN" has been enabled in the
configuration.
- Caching of host and ethers information in a local mysql table for faster
lookup.
- Background daemon for keeping the cache up to date and for executing jobs
that would make the UI seem slow, like regenerating the dhcp config file.
- For larger deployments the background daemon can be started several times
to achieve multithreading where required.
- LDAP is added as an source for naming services.
- Check for dead pxe boot files on disk
- Check for dead pxe clients in the database
- Warning for lingering kickstart enabled clients
- Show what pxe profiles are in the bootmenu and if they are password
protected.
- Display boot images as a list (Profiles -> Show boot images).
- Per OS icon displayed in the PXE profiles list

Hi,
A new BETA of One Click Kick has been released. A summary of the new
features since the 0.52 version is:
- Static DHCP address optional assignment, based on group, subnet, or
host.
- Added a readme function to the boot image process to allow the boot
image creator to display a message to the user.
- Now checking if a boot image is in use before deleting the image
- createockimg.sh is now recursive when creating boot images
- No longer require the dhcpd.conf.tmp file.
- Improved installer, now easier to install OCK
- Web interface timeout function
- Verbose DHCP daemon output when an error occours
- Ability to enable PXE boot for all hosts in a DHCP group with a single
click.

A new release has been posted! This release includes support for local lookup of host information, a new web interface, possibility to select profile to boot, directly from the PXE boot menu, having or not having a password.
