#62 [Patch] Compile with Clang fails

This package does not compile with Clang because of the following:

• -Wenum-conversion
• -Wnon-literal-null-conversion
• Failed check for dlopen because of unknown warning options

I attach a patch claiming to fix the issues and tested both clang and gcc, which compile ok.
