#62 [Patch] Compile with Clang fails

This package does not compile with Clang because of the following:
-Wenum-conversion
-Wnon-literal-null-conversion
* Failed check for dlopen because of unknown warning options

I attach a patch claiming to fix the issues and tested both clang and gcc, which compile ok.
