[ompl-users] Version information in libompl

Hi,

I'm working on packaging ompl for Fedora[1], and it looks like there's 
no versioning information built into the libompl.so library.  The 
version information in question is specified by the VERSION and 
SOVERSION properties for the library, is there any reason why these are 
omitted?
