I modified olap4j to include Hierarchy.getStructure(), and its XML/A implementation, because I needed it for my project. I wouldn't mind providing a patch. (But I don't know how to do it, I can't find any way to attach a file.)
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Sorry for the late response. I don't work in the same company anymore and I was trying to get access to that code.
But klaudiusz223 is right. That's exactly the patch we made. The author of the commit (farbeiza) was my boss at that time. You can find other patches that we made to olap4j in that same fork.
Regards.

there is an "add attachement" button when you comment e.g. on this post
can you attach this patch by any chance?
Probably you can find this patch here: https://github.com/bevalley/olap4j/commit/9ec9e562a7823c9bae1f26507471cb4907b84e2f

I've added Hierarchy.getStructure() in olap4j 2.0. It corresponds to MDSCHEMA_HIERARCHIES.STRUCTURE in XMLA.
See http://www.olap4j.org/2.0/api/org/olap4j/metadata/Hierarchy.Structure.html.
Fixed in https://github.com/olap4j/olap4j/commit/7fa9028a6e1e725dfa88c0d4eee2bfe0a828ade1.
