changes in extended encoding settings aren't reflected in parent dialog

It seems that the combobox just doesn't switch after the settings are made, so the user thinks that the extended settings were ignored.
They're only randomly reflected in the combobox items.

What is displayed in the combo box and the content of the profile are not related. The combo box displays the name of the profile and its description. If you want to modify any of those, in the Profiles dialog, click on the Gear and select Rename.
