These are really repoducible using "make release" (you should get the same md5sum):
ed2676af22582d9b6bb63d1522d11614 generate_html-0.1.14.tar.gz
2dc162e61445aa09bbe2863218f81e62 generate_html-html.tar.gz
Note that the --sort option you are using for tar to get the reproducible builds is only present on recent tar releases. It will not work on Debian, Red Hat, or CentOS until their next releases. It does work on Debian testing.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
A tag on mercurial is only a line on the .hgtags file. There's nothing stopping you from merging the two NEWS entries, remove the 0.1.14 tag, and changing the hash for 0.1.13. Until the release is pushed, that's all fair game.

Thanks for the release.
About --sort: there is a solution with find and sort that avoids the use of --sort=name
https://reproducible-builds.org/docs/archives/
I will implement that later.

Not released yet. On the process of it. Do you want me to make both releases for the sake of completeness? You did made two entries on the NEWS file.
I made two entries because the tag for 0.1.13 was already set.
But there is no difference otherwise, so I'm fine if you only release 0.1.14.

I have pushed the release.
