I have not tried against Octave 3.6.3. I also don't think I have got it to work against a static gdcm. Could you try a dynamically linked gdcm? I've tried recompiling gdcm with -fPIC and -64 with no success. I've previously installed it on a different system (64-bit Scientific Linux 6.2 with gdcm-2.0.19 compiled with the default settings) without any problems. Any ideas what the problem might be? Hi, We need to at least update http://octave.sourceforge.net/developers.html The line svn co https://octave.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/octave/trunk/octave-forge should change to svn checkout https://svn.code.sf.net/p/octave/code/trunk/octave-forge/ octave-code People is checking out the old repository. I uploaded the file to my server but forgot to give the link. Please download it from http://carandraug.no-ip.org/octave/image-1.9.90.tar.gz As far as I know there's no way to download a tarball directly from the new repository but I haven't had much time to try the new SourceForge. There's a bunch of other things I don't like such as being much slower, not being able to order by last modification, really hard to change revision, incorrectly identifying text as binary files... Hello: I've uploaded to sourceforge new versions of OctCLIP and OctPROJ packages. There are minor changes related to compiler flags in both packages. In oc_polybool functiom of OctCLIP I've corrected the way of calculation of the minumum perturbation number and I've added a new output argument Cheers -- ***************************************** José Luis García Pallero jgp...@gm... Hi all, Has anybody ever checked this cite? http://www.csse.uwa.edu.au/~pk/Research/MatlabFns/index.html It contains several image processing functions that (according to the author) run in Octave. Maybe some of them can aggrandize the image package. However, > freqz(h, N); > where N is any number including the default 512 returns incorrect > magnitude results. You probably got what you needed, just a little more clarification: If you look at help for freqz you'll see it's designed to give the frequency response of IIR filters. Your particular usage freqz(h, N) tells freqz that you want the frequency response of an IIR filter with transfer function numerator of h and denominator of N. But freqz can also be used for FIR filters, just have to remember that the denominator of an FIR filter's transfer function is 1, i.e. it's a simple polynomial with no denominator term. So, as the previous respondent says, make your second input argument a 1 and you're on your way. The explanation for why it worked when you specified freqz(h) is contained in the help: "If A is omitted, the denominator is assumed to be 1 (this corresponds to a simple FIR filter)." -- View this message in context: http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/Bug-in-freqz-tp4633628p4644798.html Sent from the Octave - Dev mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |

I don't remember when was the last time I posted in octave mailing lists. I'll try the solution posted in the thread you post > > HTH, > - Jordi G. Sigh... sorry... you have found the Octave Forge list, which is for discussion about Octave packages, not Octave itself. The maintainers' list is https://mailman.cae.wisc.edu/listinfo/octave-maintainers Please see this thread in it: http://octave.1599824.n4.nabble.com/Default-not-compiling-td4644379.html HTH, - Jordi G. Hello: I'm tryng to compile octave from the hg sources in order to test the gui and the jit features, but the compilation stops after an error. For the jit I have the llvm 3.1 dependencies installed and detected in the ./configure step. After configure all are OK: Build Octave GUI: true JIT compiler for loops: true Do internal array bounds checking: false Use octave_allocator: false Build static libraries: false Build shared libraries: true Dynamic Linking: true (dlopen) Include support for GNU readline: true 64-bit array dims and indexing: false In the compilation proccess I obtain this results: 1. You should probably recommend him to have the autoload in his .octaverc file. Carnë |

Hi all, I've just sent control-2.4.0 (SVN Revision 11140) to the OctaveForge maintainers. Please upload it to the server. The changes are listed in the NEWS file [1]. Main new feature is the "multiplot" capability for all time and frequency response functions (10 functions in total): bode (sys1, sys2, ...) step (sys1, '-k', sys2, '--k') Get it while it's hot :-) The notice for http://octave.sourceforge.net/ September 26, 2012 control-2.4.0 released Best regards Lukas [1] https://sourceforge.net/p/octave/code/11140/tree/trunk/octave-forge/main/control/NEWS |
