Requested new term SPAD score. This is classified under drought tolerance. Need clarification on how to classify this term.
Existing term in TO - drought tolerance (TO:0000276) - Becoming tolerant to drought like conditions of minimal or no water content in the growth environment.
Could SPAD score be a child of drought tolerance?
SPAD is a relative measure of chlorophyll content. Suggest that this not be the new term, but instead use chlorophyll content on intact leaf TO:0012002. See also Markwell et al 1995, http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24301641
