Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 2 Private: No Submitted By: Chris Mungall (cmungall) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: myoclonus & generalized myoclonic seizures Initial Comment: These two have identical logical definitions in human-phenotype-xp: HP:0001336 ! Myoclonus [DEF: "Very brief, involuntary random muscular contractions occurring at rest, in response to sensory stimuli, or accompanying voluntary movements."] HP:0002123 ! Generalized myoclonic seizures [DEF: "Seizures with sudden, brief (< 100 msec) involuntary single or multiple contraction(s) of muscles(s) or muscle groups of variable topography (axial, proximal limb, distal)."] Remove one - presumably the xp for HP:0002123. Note that these two terms are unrelated in HP, except at the level of abnormaluty of the nervous system.
