#9 Mailing list spam abuse

Dear SourceForge Support,

I am an administrator for the OBE project, and have
recently noticed a marked increase in spam abuse of the
obe-user and obe-developer mailing lists.

I scanned the subscriber lists but was unable to find
the culprits who posted the spam, so it's not clear to
me how they are managing to make their posts or what I
can do to stop them. I'd like to understand how these
spammers are managing to do this. I did read the online
mailing list help file but as far as I could see it
only discussed the three-way handshake required to
create a subscription.

Do you have any help for dealing with inappropriate
postings?
