sorry, the PWRGD indicates when the LMZ3 regulator is out of regulation.

I learned there are TO-220-5 (though hole) packages available for the Texas
Instruments 2A step-down switching regulators

Does that seem like a good fit?

Should I add it to the MCM, also?
