I wanted to announce that last year I updated NXT++ to support multiple bricks, via USB or Bluetooth.
Unfortunately it looks like the official website won't be updated.
See the Readme file for instructions and changelog.
NXT++ still does not support all types of sensors, but the ability to use multiple bricks is useful if you're controlling it via your Desktop PC.
My project involved using 2 bricks to control 5 motors, via USB. I also tested controlling 3 bricks via Bluetooth.
If you need more functionality, then you should be using RobotC on-board the brick, or move to Arduino.
