Is anyone working on a 0.6 version for Linux? If not, I would like to start a branch which will compile on a standard Linux. Can someone fill me in on the Linux problems encountered when moving from the 0.5 version to 0.6?
Thanks,

Sorry I took so long to respond. I had answered your email a few days before as if it were a mailing list; I forgot this was a forum. Anyways:
I haven't worked on NXT++ in a long time. The reason I abandoned Linux was because people were sending in patches that were Windows specific and I didn't have enough time to port it to Linux. Feel free to port it if you want. Unfortunately linux is neglected when it comes to the fantom library, so libraries like libusb and bluez have to be used instead for the linux comm.h. Since bluetooth is os-specific, it makes portability hard. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them
