I eventually figured out the apt sources by trial and error and have Debian Sarge installed on my old PowerBook 1400. It doesn't really have the juice for a GUI so I spend a little time each day learning about the Linux command line from the Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 Bible. I'm curious as to how many folks are still involved with this project and whether or not there will ever be an attempt to develop a kernel for a newer version of Debian. Thanks so much for the response. Tom On May 22, 2012, at 12:40 AM, Hisanobu Tomari wrote: > Tom, > > Sorry for an old reply.
