Category: Language File Group: 2.0 Series >Status: Pending Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Erdal Ronahi (erdalronahi) >Assigned to: Amir Szekely (kichik) Summary: Wrong entry in HKCU/../Installer Language Initial Comment: NSIS has Kurdish as a language. In Gaim 2.0.0 Beta 3 the following problem occurs when using Kurdish as the installer language: NSIS writes "9999" to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\gaim\Installer Language because no Windows LCID for Kurdish exists. That leads to a missing language support in Gaim, because Gaim uses that key to determine the program language later on. See the GAIM bug https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1464380&group_id=235&atid=100235 for a detailed description of the problem. If NSIS knows more languages than Windows, it should not be restricted by the Windows LCID. Our Kurdish team uses free software to overcome the restrictions of Windows. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Amir Szekely (kichik) Date: 2006-04-05 21:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=584402 9999 is the unoffical LCID used for Kurdish, at least here. If it's used in another language file, feel free, as the translator, to choose another. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Erdal Ronahi (erdalronahi) Date: 2006-04-04 23:53 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1053570 Maybe an "inofficial" LCID for Kurdish could be a solution? Some unused number that we would make an inofficial standard until Microsoft defines one? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1464476&group_id=22049 |
