Bugs item #1065322, was opened at 2004-11-12 17:13 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1065322&group_id=22049 Category: General Group: 2.0 Series Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Chris Sexton (csexton) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Command line - incorrect usage not trapped Initial Comment: Command line - incorrect usage not trapped Putting a /D flag *after* the script.nsi is allowed even thought the usage says it is not. By "allowed" I mean makensis still attempted a compile. The define flag was recognised in the log, but the value was not used where it was referenced. In other words, while the script log includes a line for it: - Command line defined: "PRTargetRef=FrenchDemo" However the value isn't actually available - see the result below: - Output: "D:\targets\ \installer\install.exe" - Can't open output file - Error - aborting creation process It was my mistake in getting them the wrong way round according to the usage documentation, but makensis.exe should not have proceeded. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1065322&group_id=22049 |
