Bugs item #1054371, was opened at 2004-10-25 22:29 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by Item Submitter You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1054371&group_id=22049 Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: Kevin Gadd (janusfury) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: RegDLL (still?) broken Initial Comment: RegDLL does not operate correctly when used on DLLs that have dependencies. When registering, RegDLL does not first set the working directory to OutDir, which means that all of the DLL's dependencies must be in the user's System32 directory. Since placing random files in System32 is not exactly a good idea, it would be nice if there was some way to control the working directory during DLL registration. As it is, I have to include regsvr32.exe and call it with ExecWait (and that isn't a solution that works for all versions of windows). I distinctly remember reporting this bug before and submitting a patch, but I don't see it in the SF.net archives so maybe I was just dreaming. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1054371&group_id=22049 |
