Category: Build System Group: 2.0 Series >Status: Closed >Resolution: Invalid Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Josh (redxii) Assigned to: Amir Szekely (kichik) Summary: NSIS descends into wrong, similarly named directories Initial Comment: There are two folders in the project that are named the same. 'docs' smplayer-build\docs is added recursively. smplayer-build\mplayer is only added recursively if WITH_MPLAYER is defined, and also contains a directory called 'docs' pertaining to MPlayer. 'File /r "smplayer-build\docs"' is also including "smplayer-build\mplayer\docs" even though the MPlayer directory is not being included by not defining WITH_MPLAYER. So no MPlayer files should be included. The build output shows it descending into smplayer-build\mplayer\docs right after smplayer-build\docs. I've attached: - Script w/ custom English strings (but no binaries needed to compile) - Build log - Directory tree ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Josh (redxii) Date: 2009-12-25 17:39 Message: Ok I changed them to \*.*, but that's kinda dumb though.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Wizou (wizou) Date: 2009-12-25 17:32 Message: This is normal by-design behaviour, and it is documented in the detailed "Note" about the File command in NSIS help file. As documented, what you should do is: File /r "smplayer-build\docs\*.*" ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=2921211&group_id=22049 |
