I actually build big packages (>250Mo) with NSIS and I have a little problem. I have two package : one of 250Mo and one of 290Mo. The first one has the icon I set for it but the second one doesn't. I add a big file in my first and when I rebuild the package the icon doesn't appear. The most strange point is that when the package is being built, the icon appears but when the build is finished, it disappears. PS : sorry for my bad english. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Joost Verburg (joostverburg) Date: 2008-10-17 17:02 Message: This is normal. For performance reasons, Windows doesn't show the icons of big files. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-10-17 16:55 Message: I don't figure out how to add a file to my bug description. So here is the test file I made to verify and to illustrate the bug : !include "MUI2.nsh" InstallDir "c:\" Name "Test bug" OutFile "testBug.exe" !insertmacro MUI_PAGE_DIRECTORY !insertmacro MUI_PAGE_INSTFILES !define MUI_DIRECTORYPAGE_VERIFYONLEAVE Section SetOutPath $INSTDIR File bigFile.zip ; ~290Mo SectionEnd if bigFile.zip is about 250Mo, it works, I have the icon, if it is bigger (290Mo) it doesn't work) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=2174932&group_id=22049 |
