Category: Scripting Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 6 Private: No Submitted By: Amir Szekely (kichik) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: MBCS Initial Comment: MBCS support isn't amazing. While the internal code takes care of it, it's a bit hard to support in the script. For example, StrCmp uses lstrcmp so a lead character without anything after it is considered an empty string. Path handling also poses a problem as the script can't tell lead characters and skip a backslash that might follow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Date: 2008-01-07 23:40 Message: Logged In: NO Bug 1852141, which has been closed after a workaround, is an example for this problem. I used that fix to solve one of my problems on Chinese systems. But the same problem occurred in WordReplace et cetera which I fixed for me in the same way. I don't wont provide a bug report for this as well as the fix because it's a subsequent error caused by the MBCS problem. I mention this to point out that solving this bug should get a high priority!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=373085&aid=1856414&group_id=22049 |
