Fix a problem with long spectrum names:
          o Truncation to Xamine fixed size names caused assertion failures in 
              unbind 
          o Buffer overflow in spectra.cc could cause amusing thing in the
             Xamine spectrum chooser that ultimately could result in a segfault.
