Why bother to create a home directory for this user? Can't we just use "nobody", which seems to work well? Or if we do create an NRPE specific user, why not have the home directory be empty?

Hello,
we need a special user "nagios", wich has its own home "/usr/local/nagios".
There we find a .profile. The user nobody has no right for self made properitary Plugins( e.g. checking own developped projects).
it is the best help for other users in this situation to add the info about the .profile or .bash_profile in the Documentation
