MacOSX

For Mac you might want to get the special "mac bundle" (nrk-opptak-X.X.X-mac.zip). This includes all requisites (AdobeHDS.php, ffmpeg, mp4box, mkvmerge and mediainfo) and an installation script.

The auto-installer puts the scripts in /usr/local/bin so you'll an administrator account.

OS X already has Perl and PHP installed.
