When moving the find results window from its default position, I always receive this error and it causes my mouse to break until Notepad++ is force closed.

'SetWindowsHookEx(KEYBOARD) fail..'
'GetLastError() returned 1428'

Steps to reproduce:
* Open Notepad++
* Ctrl+F or Ctrl+Alt+F to search for a string.
* Enter something to search, and use the 'Find All Occurrences'.
* The 'Find result' window at the bottom should now appear with the results.
* Attempt to click and move this window undocking it from Notepad++ and the error should occur.

Information:
* Windows 7 x64 w/SP1
* Notepad++ 6.5.4 (UNICODE)
* Localization is English, standard and default on a Windows install.
* Hardware is:
Lenovo Z710 ideaPad
Intel Core i7-4700MQ @ 2.40GHz
8.0 GB RAM
Nvidia GT 745M

Screenshot of the problem attached. The screenshot has the bar circled in green on what to click and drag to cause the error.

    Very interested in the answer to this question. I searched the Google net and found only that the problem is the target from version 5.4.4.

    <quote>

    Changes in Notepad++ 5.4.4:
    Upgrade Scintilla from 1.77 to 1.78
    Fix XML syntax highlighting bug while presence of the tag "" (Yes, finally)
    Fix Find in files/Find in all open files bug in non western languages (ie. Russian, Chinese, Hebrew...)
    Fix the find in files crash issue if find what field contains 0x0A or 0xD
    Fix Window7 SetWindowsHookEx() failed issue for the dockable windows. (by recognizing windows7 environment)
    Fix no tool bar bug under w2k
    Fix Incremental search bug while clicking on text zone after some searche
    </guote>

    This is very strange. On my Win7 is installed the last current version and there is no problem. At my friend (who always advises me when trouble) how any contact of the mouse ends up the same error.

    Please respond and help me, what is this error and how to fix this.

      Could you put the error and about box to make sure it's the right binary launched?

        Also, another bug I am noticing is if you press CTRL with this new build, Notepad++ loses focus entirely.

        I also cannot do anything with hte find results window now either. I cannot resize it, move it, etc. It all throws that new error as seen in the pic above.

    Thank you for allowing a snapshot version displays an error. Mistake occurs as soon as the edge of the toolbar will catch a mouse.

    @atom0s:

    Could you tell me if you have the same error when you resize the find result window?

    Disregard this, I did not notice you posted a new build cause of how Sourceforge lays out these replies. The new build looks to be working great now.
