I am not sure if should i post this ticket in bugs or support request.
When I compare big files (2+ MB) my screen starts to flicker (goes on/off) untill I managed to kill npp with task manager (that's kinda hard to do). I cant really provide an example since its company code.
The PC I tried it on is: i3 3 GHz, 8 GB ram, W7 Enterprise x64, integrated graphics card
My computer goes haywire (massive memory corruption? requiring computer restart) when comparing 7MB ASCII files using Compare 1.5.6 in Notepad++ 6.8.8
Got desperate and installed unofficial compare 1.5.6.3 from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sourcecookifier/files/other%20plugins/ComparePlugin.v1.5.6.3.bin.zip
The compare 1.5.6.3 worked without causing any problems!! I hope this continues - this may work for you too??
