#1 Notepad++ hangs indefnitely when using compare.

Hi,
I can't seem to use Notepad++ and the Compare plugin for larger text files. I have two 2.9MB files that I would like to compare. Upon selecting "Compare" from the Plugin > Compare menus, Notepad++ indefinitely hangs and does not recover. I was able to successfully use Compare with slightly smaller text files (<2MB). I've tested the following versions of NP++

- 5.9
- 5.9.1
- 5.9.2

Both ANSI and Unicode. Compare Plugin 1.5.6.1 Unicode and Compare Plugin 1.5.5 ANSI.
On WinXP Pro SP3.
