Well, I suppose so, but I'm not sure of that: I have installed Notion using
apt on the latest ubuntu, and I put a file /etc/X11/Xsession.d/45x11-xrandr
with this line : xrandr --output HDMI1 --off --output LVDS1 --mode 1600x900
--pos 0x150 --rotate normal --output DP1 --off --output VGA1 --mode
1680x1050 --pos 1600x0 --rotate normal
I did no other changes to the default config.

I don't know if this answers to your question. If not, please, let me know
how to be sure...
