Hi, considering that our script collection is in very bad shape (many scripts are broken or obsolete, and we have the license issue already discussed), I suggest to proceed as follows: We should single out a list of officially maintained scripts that are confirmed to be working, are still relevant, have a clear license and that at least one person is interested in. All other scripts should be moved to a "legacy" folder which is kept around for curiosity's sake. Of course there will be the option of promoting a script from the legacy folder to the list of official scripts when someone comes around who cares about the script and fixes it or at least files a bug. I don't have a lot of time at the moment, but probably I'll at least start to do this. This undertaking will heavily depend on user input anyway as I have no idea which scripts people are actually using. What do you guys think about this plan? Best, Philipp |
