I think perhaps we should stop releasing snapshots as building from git is now
fairly easy:

We should, however, make 'proper' releases much more often - e.g. at least 
every 2 months.

For the next release I'd like to:
* integrate some Debian packaging work by Philipp Hartwig
* look at patches submitted at
  https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?atid=1324530&group_id=314802&func=browse
* Try to reproduce and fix bug 3564112 
* See if we can do anything about bug 3562099 (not really a bug but confusing 
  behavior with respect to fullscreening 

Help warmly appreciated! 

If you can test latest git I'd be much obliged. Git should be fairly stable, 
known-breaking commits go into branches.

If you have any bugs/regressions/wishes for the release let us know!
