Hmm, I guess that means it's probably not a regression. Not sure if that's 
good or not ;).

I quickly enabled a statusbar here and it doesn't seem to flicker, so I'm not
sure how to help.. I know there's another guy on IRC who also sees flickering,
so it seems to be a real issue.
