it seems unlikely that this was caused by upgrading Debian (I'm also running a 
fully upgraded testing). Are you aware that the geometry of the scratchpad is 
saved with the rest of the layout? What happens if you temporarily move 
.notion/default-session--0/saved_layout.lua out of the way and restart Notion? 
What happens if you move the scratchpad back to the center (this can be done 
using the move/resize bindings) and then save the layout?
