Hi Arnout, Thank you for your response. The problem seems to have disappeared this morning when I restarted my machine. I have been trying out a simple script that starts a bunch of applications (about 10) in one go when I start the machine. Today, when I tried to start them one at a time, it was fine. I will try the script again tomorrow to see if that may have caused the problem or if it was just an one off. Thanks again, akhi On 14 December 2011 08:59, Arnout Engelen <no...@bz...> wrote: > On Tue, Dec 13, 2011 at 05:08:56PM +0000, akhilesh singhania wrote: >> I was a long term ion user and recently started using notion. >> Thank you very much for the work on notion. > > Welcome :) > >> notion was working great until today when I started seeing some >> strange behavior. >> I see the following problem and any help in fixing it will be greatly >> appreciated. >> I don't remember installing anything significant or changing any >> settings that might impact notion. >> >> In a non terminal app like a browser, a pdf viewer, or emacs, when I >> scroll using the mouse, the entire workspace 'shakes' horizontally. >> This also happens when I switch to a workspace with one of the above >> apps using something like 'Mod + ./,'. >> >> It can be quite stressful on the eyes. >> Has anyone seen something like this before? >> Please let me know if I can provide any information to help you debug this. > > Doesn't sound familiar.
