An external lexer for KVIrc KVS syntax highlighting has been posted to the Scintilla Interest group files area. http://groups.google.com/group/scintilla-interest/files?hl=en It is useable, yet still has minor issues with array/hash highlighting in secondary views when switching to another language.
Download and try it if you're a lexer writer, KVS scripter, or just curious to see a lexer that provides:
Folding of successive single line comments for both # and // comment lines
Folding of /* c++ stream comments */ as well as folding of functions within the commented stream.
The usual //{ //} manual fold markers
Highlighting of seven keyword groups and one compiled keyword group
Separate coloring for assignment and evaluation operators
Separate coloring for arrays and hashes with transparent highlighting similar to the global 'find' indicator.
If you see any bugs and/or have a solution for fixing bugs please post.
