Can you send me the Explorer.ini file from your %APPDATA%\Notepad++\plugins\config\ folder?
In addition I would like to send you a modified version in next days to do some trace outputs. I would like to know why it hangs.
Some additional information are necessary:
- Can you tell me your OS?
- Can you tell me if you have installed Tortoise or other Windows Explorer extensions?

I'm not getting any Tooltips for the icons at the top in Explorer. I do for Favourites and other plugins docked to the side.
Hmm, just checked the previous version 1.6.1 and I don't have Tooltips there also. Didn't notice before, sorry.
System is Win2K SP4 up to date.

Another question: Do you have installed the NativeLang.dll?

Would be great if there was an option to disable file refresh in future versions to save CPU and I/0.
There is an option called 'Automatic Update on Focus'.

The explorer plugin and the ftp plugin have to be integrated in notepad++ :)
I ca see tooltips. besides who needs them? Click on the button to see what it does, it's not gonna format your computer
It seems to me that the explorer plugin causes once in a time a 99% CPU usage.
I like this plugin and hope you will resolve the troubles with the CPU usage.
