You need to use the Copy Bookmarked Lines feature of N++, to copy the visible lines ONLY :-)
Of course, you may bookmark any "visible" line of the folded part, individually, by using the CTRL + F2 shortcut, but the best would be using the Mark dialog ( CTRL + F and Mark tab ) to automatically bookmark them, on a specific criterion, as I explained in that post !
I agree that a Copy Visible Lines ONLY command could be an interesting feature, not yet implemented in N++, unfortunately :-((

P.S. :
Don't pay attention to the IMPORTANT paragraph, at the end of the linked post. I just realize that it's was useless, as you just have to do a CTRL + A and a CTRL + V actions !

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Oh, It's just my fault ! I should have read more carefully, as you said :
If I could at least choose to ALWAYS paste as folded, that would be great!
But, I'm afraid this feature is NOT available yet :-((
Of course, you could easily fold, again, the totality of the current file, where you pasted the clipboard, by using the View -> Fold All option or the ALT + 0 shortcut ( on Main keyboard ) but I suppose that this behaviour is not exactly the one you would expect to, wouldn't you ?
Sorry, I'm not able to think about an other possible solution, right now :-((

Whenever I copy-paste one or more folders, they are always pasted as unfolded (regardless if they where folded or not when I copied them).
Is there a way to preserve the folding state when copy/pasting?

Hello Daniel,
Just read my post to Kocrachon, six months ago, who seemed to have the same problem, at the address below :-)

Hello,
thank you for your response!
If I understood it right, the solution you found would only copy the titles of the folded folders, right?
I want to keep copying all the content of a folded folder (not only the visible part), just as it does normally.
I just don't want the folder to be unfolded when it's pasted.
Sorry if I am not being able to explain correctly. Let me know if you want me to send some examples!
Thanks again
Daniel
