I uninstalled the application entirely and even now trying to install full version from scratch the install hangs at the same spot in the install. Thanks for any help you are able to provide.

When I tried to update from a previous version of Notepad plus the install hangs at:
Extract: C:\DOCUME~1\Sfink\LOCALS~1\Temp\xmlUpdater.exe... 100%
