While coding html/css I often Alt/Tab from Notepad++ into Firefox. When I return to Notepad++ using Alt/Tab I can no longer type until I use my mouse to regain focus on the code in notepad++.
I was wondering whether this is a known bug in Notepad++ 4.02 or if there's something wrong with my PC/Windows.
I've never experienced anything like this in previous versions.

I believe there was a problem with the initial release of a couple of the plugins with respect to the new docking support in Notepad++. In any case, try replacing some of your plugins with later versions from https://sourceforge.net/projects/npp-plugins to see if that fixes your problem. With Explorer 1.2, Hex Editor 0.7 and Function List 1.2, I can alt-tab between Firefox and Notepad++ with proper focus handling. --Joel

I've just installed the latest version of Explorer and the focus problem seems to be fixed.
Thanks for the quick response.
