Notepad++ takes over calls to browser?

    Since installing version 4.8.2, I'm finding that any time I try to follow a URL in Twhirl (Twitter client), Notepad++ comes up instead. That happens even if Notepad++ was closed when I clicked the link. I'm using Twhirl 0.7.2 under WinXP Pro. My default browser is Firefox 2.0.0.12

      Seems you've associated the "htm" file extension with Notepad++ when you installed the editor.
      To solve it, just re-assign "htm" (and probably "html") with your default browser.
      You can also set or remove file associations in Notepad++: (Main menu) Settings -> Preferences -> File Association.
